Our first CPD events for the new licensing period (1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025) commence over the next 2 weeks in Sydney and Perth with a record numbers of registrations - REGISTER NOW to secure one of the limited remaining places.

NOTE: By registering for any of these events, you will receive 23 customs broker Continuing Professional Developments (CPD) points issued on an attendance basis.

OPTIONS TO MEET YOUR 2024/2025 CPD REQUIREMENTS

MANDTATORY COURSE - The Australian Border Force will again host a MANDATORY online course that will attract 3 CPD points in Stream B (timing and availability be advised).

This means that licensed customs brokers must complete an additional 27 CPD points before 31 March 2025 to meet the annual requirement of 30 CPD points. It is important to note that a maximum of 12 CPD points in Stream B count towards the the required 30 CPD point total.  

Detail is yet to be provided in terms of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) requirements for this licensing period - further updates to follow.

OPTION 1 ONLINE - complete you total CPD & CBC obligations via the new FTA online Training Platform (MYFTACPD) with resources and assessments.

OPTION 2 IN-PERSON - attend one of the above listed CPD Border Compliance Program events for 23 CPD points: 14 CPD points in Stream A & 9 CPD points in Stream B AND  attend one of our Sec 77G and Approved Arrangement Forum events (NSW, WA, VIC, QLD) for 5 CPD points in Steam A.

Attendance (with no assessment required) at these two events, combined with the mandatory 3 CPD point course to be hosted online by the ABF, will meet your annual CPD requirement. 

OPTION 3 HYBRID - attend one of the above CPD Border Compliance Program events for 23 CPD points: 14 CPD points in Stream A & 9 CPD points in Stream B AND on a COMPLIMENTARY BASIS, complete your remaining CPD & CBC obligations via the ne FTA online Training Platform (MYFTACPD) with resources and assessments.
