We have received correspondence from Myer as one of our latest subscribers.
They currently use Cardboard Pallets to move some of their merchandise from Asia to Australia (refer attached).
In some cases the merchandise is unloaded off the pallets at their DC's and the pallet is put aside and not used.
Currently their DC's have excess stock on hand and these get recycled once quantities get out of hand.
These pallets could be useful for other Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) subscribers, an exporter, transport company or the like to collect from the Myer DC's located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth?
Here is some information on the pallets;
- Cardboard material
- Made from Kraft Liner Paper
- Good quality
- Dimensions are 115 x 105 x 13
- Can handle 500 kg's
- Used once (loaded in container from Asia to Australia)
- Good condition and can definitely be re-used
