NSW Ports Welcomes Cruise Terminal Decision

NSW Ports has welcomed the NSW Government's announcement that it will not proceed with the development of a cruise terminal at Yarra Bay.

Port Botany is a key trade gateway for the nation, contributing $10.7 billion annually to NSW Gross State Product and supporting more than 52,000 jobs. 

The proposed cruise terminal development at Yarra Bay had the potential to impact on Port Botany's operations and capacity to grow, jeopardising the efficiency of the State's supply chains.
