FTA 2023 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) Update

Who does this notice affect?

Biosecurity Industry Participants and accredited persons operating under the department's class 19.1 non-commodity for containerised cargo clearance (NCCC) & class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangements.

2023 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) Training for Class 19 Accredited Persons

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 122/2023 with key dates and information for the 2023-24 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC).

The CBC pre-recorded webinar will be made available on the department's Learnhub platform from Wednesday 6 September 2023 and must be completed by Wednesday 18 October 2023.

In April the Department sent all accredited persons an email with instructions on how to set up your account and password. For further information refer to Accessing Learnhub Tip Sheet.

Action Items:

Set up password and Account in the department's Learnhub
Enrol and complete via Learnhub - "Introduction to Learnhub" before the CBC Activity date

The Introduction to Learnhub topic will teach you how to:

Identify the requirements for accessing Learnhub
Explain the benefits of Learnhub
Identify how to locate webinars and tutorials
Identify how to locate resources and help cards
Identify how to locate my learning and your training history.

The CBC pre-recorded webinar and resources will be available on Wednesday 6 September 2023
Complete the CBC Assessment on the FTA training platform at www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au
The CBC Assessment is available to members complimentary who attended one of our 2023 FTA CPD Border Compliance Programs OR have purchased a member online training package. No additional cost will be incurred.
CBC Assessment must be completed by Wednesday 18 October 2023

FTA will report to the department on behalf of all accredited persons who have completed the 2023-24 CBC Activity through us for reconciliation.
