Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) understand there are currently significant delays at DP World Brisbane Terminal as a result of recurring equipment issues of late.
Importers, customs brokers, and/or freight forwarders are encouraged to liaise with Shipping Lines who we expect will show some leniency in terms of container detention in these circumstances caused by their contracted stevedore. Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) have referred the matter to DP World management for comment given it has become more prevalent over recent times.
