Further to last week's member notice CARGO HOLDS AND FCL STORAGE CONCESSIONS, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has had enquires in relation to the support for Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) service providers.
Further advice has been received from the Australian Border Force in terms of action required before you can make an enquiry about a cargo HOLD: - you will be required to confirm that all reporting is accurate and all obligations have been met; and
- in most instances your ATT Account Manager will require you to provide detailed "due diligence" documents that demonstrate you have met the ATT due diligence requirements before they will follow up on the HOLD.
We understand that the due diligence expectations for ATT service providers are high and you must be able to demonstrate these have consistently been met. If you cannot confirm the accuracy of the documents or a sufficiently detailed level of due diligence then the Account Manager will not be able to follow up on your behalf.
Martin Moseley (Superintendent - Australian Trusted Trader Customs Division, Australian Border Force) will present further information on this requirements at all upcoming Border Compliance Program events (further detail below). |
