Overseas Partnerships acknowledged on International Customs Day

On International Customs Day (26 January), the New Zealand Customs Service acknowledged the success of its overseas relationships, which is preventing significant quantities of illicit drugs from reaching our shores.

   
  
   
Just another day patrolling the Northland coastline

Our officers were out on a routine patrol along the Northland coastline when they saw an object in the water ahead of the boat. Their initial thoughts were that it was a seagull, but as the boat went past, they took a second look and spotted a very wide eyed and relieved looking dog swimming towards them! The team scooped the Jack Russell into the boat, and dried and warmed her up.
