| Announcement – appointment of DP World Australia GMs Commercial We are pleased to announce the appointment of DP World Australia General Managers Commercial, Ben Moke (for Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania) and Ravi Kumar Sheshadri (for Queensland and New South Wales). Max Kruse, DP World Australia's Chief Commercial Officer, says: "Ravi and Ben will work in these newly created roles to increase DP World Australia's commercial customer relations and growth, and to build deeper customer relationships, up and down the supply chain. "The expanded commercial team will focus on developing joint business opportunities with our customers, and on expanding our commercial capability to extract new business opportunities along the supply chain," Max says. Ben Moke joins us from the Port of Melbourne Corporation, where he worked as Business Development Manager. He starts with us on 28 September. Ben started his career in the transport and logistics industry over a decade ago and has performed various senior roles with leading logistics companies across the Oceania region. While at the Port of Melbourne Corporation, Ben worked closely with a wide range of the port's stakeholders, including shipping lines, road and rail operators, freight forwarders, port authorities and Government agencies. His extensive network and exposure across multiple leading global supply chains provides DP World Australia with invaluable knowledge and expertise to incorporate into its operational performance and infrastructure investment strategies and objectives. As GM Commercial, Ben is responsible for DP World Australia's interests in Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. Ben will be based at our West Swanson terminal. Ravi Kumar Sheshadri is an experienced commercial manager with a background in the finance and logistics sectors. He joins DP World Australia from Aurizon, where he worked as Key Account Manager in the Commercial and Marketing Division. Ravi was responsible for developing, negotiating and managing contracts in the resources and agricultural sector at Aurizon. Ravi starts with us on 27 October. As GM Commercial, Ravi is responsible for DP World Australia's interests in Queensland and New South Wales. Ravi will be based at our Port Botany terminal. |
