China’s new requirements for imported food products

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice from Austrade and  the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) of an information session providing an update to the new requirements for food products exported to China that will commence 1 January 2022.

To assist businesses, the department is hosting an information session on Friday October 22. See below for details:

The requirements for exporting food products to China are changing.

China has announced new food establishment registration and product labelling requirements for imported food products from 1 January 2022.


If you are currently exporting food products to China, you may need to take actions to meet China's new registration and labelling requirements.

This webinar is designed to provide you with information about China's new requirements, and to answer your questions about how they affect your business.
