VICT closure due to a second positive COVID-19 case

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received advice from the Victorian International Container Terminal (VICT) that they have experienced a second COVID-19 case and are working with the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to determine the close contacts.to that individual.

To ensure the safety of all, VICT ceased operations across the whole site from 2200 last night, 22 September 2021.

At this stage, VICT cannot confirm when they will be able to resume operations but will post updates as soon as that becomes clearer.

VICT executive stated no penalty fees will be charged for Listing, or No Shows resulting from this closure.

"This is a rapidly developing situation and we appreciate your patience while we work through the complexities of resuming operations safely."
