Victoria's roadmap to open up Yesterday, the Premier released the Roadmap to Deliver the National Plan which is based on expert modelling from the Burnet Institute and is set against COVID-19 thresholds including hospitalisation rates, and vaccination targets. The government is mindful that while Victoria is no longer aiming for COVID zero, it's imperative that our health system is not jeopardised.

The modelling relies on workers across the state being vaccinated. Victoria's Chief Health Officer will assess vaccination requirements and potential deadlines for all authorised workers in Victoria. As you are aware, there are already vaccine requirements for aged care, construction, and freight workforces.

As Victoria reaches 70 per cent and 80 per cent double dose vaccination targets, we will see progressive opening up, with greater opportunities for those who are fully vaccinated.

We encourage the whole of the freight and logistics industry to get fully vaccinated as soon as possible. Please visit the Coronavirus website for information on how to book your vaccination or call 1800 675 398. Bookings are also available through GP clinics or pharmacies.
