From 1:00am AEST 22 September 2021, the Local Government Areas of Byron Shire and Tweed Shire declareared interstate places of concern. Anyone in Queensland who has been in Byron Shire or Tweed Shire in the last 14 days or since 1:00am AEST 18 September 2021 must follow stay at home restrictions.
Also, from 1am AEST Wednesday 22 September 2021 the Byron Shire, and Tweed Shire Local Government Areas are part of the restricted border zone.
