NO JAB, NO WORK - REVISED NSW HEALTH MANDATING VACCINES

Saturday, August 28, 2021

The NSW Government has received wide-spread criticism in recent weeks in terms of the complexity of their Health Orders.

They certainly addressed this in last night's announcement with a very simple message.

NO JAB, NO WORK.

In a 180 degree turn, NSW Health last night announced that Rapid Antigen Testing will no longer be an alternative to vaccination and requests for consideration of an interim measure to allow authorised workers from an area of concern to continue working if they undergo a COVID-19 test within prescribed periods has been rejected.

To be clear, in order to work outside their area of concern, authorised workers must now have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by the EXTENDED TIMEFRAME of Monday, 6 September 2021.

Authorised workers under the age of 16 years will be exempt from the requirement to be vaccinated.
