Port of Melbourne 2020 Container Logistics Chain Study Launch

Monday, 6 September 2021 - 4.00pm to 5.30pm

On 6 September 2021 the Port of Melbourne will host a webinar releasing the results of their Container Logistics Chain Study.

The results of this study "will provide a thorough and current understanding of the container supply chain, supporting industry and its future planning efforts."

It will also inform policy development and investment decision-making for the Port and the Victorian Government.

A number of valued Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA) members made a significant contribution to this study and we again extend our thanks.

Enormous volumes of invaluable container origin and destination data was entrusted by members to FTA where it cleansed and de identified before being shared with the Study's consultants - GHD in order to assist in crafting this vitally important study.

Join the Port of Melbourne's CEO, Brendan Bourke, and Minister for Ports and Freight, the Hon. Melissa Horne MP, for a virtual briefing on the report findings and what they mean for industry and policy makers.

Monday, 6 September 2021 - 4.00pm to 5.30pm
