Truck curfews
The Victorian Government has removed truck curfews to support deliveries to Victorian pharmacies and supermarkets during the current COVID-19 restrictions.
The truck curfew exemption is in place until 11.59pm on 2 September 2021.
The lifted truck curfews support quicker deliveries to Victorian pharmacies and supermarkets during the current COVID-19 restrictions.
Greater flexibility is required in scheduling driver deliveries outside of normal operating hours so that supermarkets and pharmacies can meet an increased demand for essential goods.
Heavy vehicles can pass time-based curfew "no trucks" signs when making grocery deliveries to supermarkets or personal hygiene products to retail outlets.
