From 3.22pm Wednesday 18 August, travellers coming from New Zealand or the Cook Islands will no longer be able to travel unrestricted into South Australia. They will be subject to the testing and quarantine requirements of all other overseas arrivals.

These requirements include:

  • 14 day medi-hotel quarantine
  • COVID-19 test on day 1, 5 and 13
  • Must wear a face mask (covering mouth and nose) at any time that they come into contact with the public for a period of 14 days after their arrival in SA.
