Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received notification of Industry Advice Notice 174-2021 from the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) of Industry information sessions related to the 2021-22 Brown Marmorated stink bug seasonal measures.
The department is delivering three industry information sessions covering the 2021-22 BMSB seasonal measures. These measures will apply to certain goods shipped to Australia as sea cargo between 1 September 2021 and 30 April 2022 inclusive.
The sessions will provide information on the 2021-22 BMSB seasonal measures for goods being imported, shipped, or treated during the BMSB risk season. The sessions will also provide industry with the opportunity to ask questions about the proposed measures.
