Accordng to Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal (MSICT) announcement, operations of container gate-in and gate-out has been suspended from 11th Aug. Key Highlights

  • Ningbo Meishan Isaland International Container Terminal (MSICT) locked down and stopped operations of container gate-in and gate-out from 11th Aug until further notice.
  • Other Ningbo-Zhoushan port's terminals are operating normally.
  • 2M vessels mainly call Ningbo Beilun Container Terminal Phase 4 with the waiting time of 1.5-2 days right now.
  • A few vessels which call MSICT started to move to other terminals in Ningbo port.
  • Maersk has a VSA service AC6 (Asia- South America) calls MSICT and next week's port call (vessel SEASPAN OCEANIA) will omit Ningbo.
  • Trucking related to empty and laden return from/to Meishan port suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.
  • Ningbo Bluedragon Longfei warehouse operation completely suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.

Terminals

Ningbo Meishan Isaland International Container Terminal (MSICT)

  • Operations of container gate-in and gate-out suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.
  • A few vessels which call MSICT started to move to other terminals in Ningbo port.

Ningbo Beilun Container Terminal Phase 4

  • 2M vessels mainly call Beilun Terminal Phase 4 with the waiting time of 1.5-2 days right now.
  • Yard density for laden is 80% and 75% for empty.
  • Duration of CY open will reduce to 2-3 days depending on the terminal situation.

Other Ningbo-Zhoushan port's terminals are operating normally.

Vessels

Maersk has a VSA service AC6 (Asia- South America) calls MSICT and next week's port call (vessel SEASPAN OCEANIA) will omit Ningbo.

Empty Containers

Empty pick-up remains normal as empty stock reserves in other terminals instead of Meishan terminal.

Landside Service

Trucking related to empty and laden return from/to Meishan port suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.

Warehouse

Ningbo Bluedragon LongFei warehouse operation completely suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.

Ningbo Bluedragon LongXing warehouse operation keeps normal while empty pick-up and laden gatein from/to Meishan terminal suspended.
