Yesterday we shared with you the news about the closure of Meishan Terminal in Ningbo, China. This situation was caused by a COVID19 case detected among the port operators. With your cargo planning in mind, we would like to provide you with the latest news:
1. Export affected vessels:
The following 3 vessels will omit Ningbo:
- CMA CGM MUSCA Voyage No: 0PPA7E1MA (original Estimated Time of Arrival to Ningbo, August 14, 2021)
- SEASPAN OCEANIA Voyage No: 0PPA9E1MA (original Estimated Time of Arrival to Ningbo, August 15, 2021)
- APL LEHAVRE Voyage No: 0PPABE1MA (original Estimated Time of Arrival to Ningbo, August 20, 2021)
In case you wish to amend your bookings to load from Shanghai, please contact our customer service center. We can offer empty equipment to be released from Ningbo under your own trucking arrangement to Shanghai.
Kindly be advised that Hapag-Lloyd will not impose any export detention charges involved (MHO) for this incident.
2. Import affected vessels:
The following 3 vessels will omit Ningbo:

- SEASPAN OCEANIA Voyage No: 0PPA9E1MA (original Estimated Time of Arrival to Ningbo, August 15, 2021)
- APL LEHAVRE Voyage No: 0PPABE1MA (original Estimated Time of Arrival to Ningbo, August 20, 2021)
Inbound containers arriving Ningbo expected to be delayed. Our Import team will closely liaise on updated schedule.
3. Other Ningbo Terminals are not affected by the closure: CY Open Time reduced to 2 days
As Meishan Terminal calling vessels will be diverted to other terminals in Ningbo, we expect congestion and delays. The Terminal has announced that the CY Open time will be reduced to 2 days. It is highly recommended to check the terminal website to ensure to check in your cargo on time.
