From 11.59pm on Monday 9 August, restrictions will ease in regional Victoria. There are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home or how far you can travel within regional Victoria.
The only reasons to travel from metropolitan Melbourne into regional Victoria are for work or education, medical care and care giving, and shopping for food and essential supplies or to get vaccinated if it is your nearest location. The same applies when travelling from regional Victoria to metropolitan Melbourne.
