Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel—Associated Direction No 35) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 came into effect at 12.01 am 29 July 2021. Amendments include:

  • ACT-NSW restricted zone arrivals are prohibited (including overseas arrivals completing 14 days quarantine in ACT-NSW). Travellers may apply to the Department for Health and Wellbeing for an exemption.
  • ACT-NSW arrivals who are essential travellers remain at Level 4 and victims of domestic violence remain at Level 5. Travellers are subject to quarantine and testing provisions pursuant to their traveller category.
