Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) wish to advise of a "registration of interest" opportunity for parties interested in participating in the establishment of two unique road-rail container logistics intermodal terminals to support the container logistics supply chain in Melbourne, Victoria.The terminals will consist of two fully automated container terminals on our client's freehold land, strategically located in the west and south-east metropolitan hinterlands. The intermodal terminals will have access to over 60% of the Port of Melbourne's container volume.
The terminals will benefit from the Victorian State Government's commitment to the development of the Port-Rail Shuttle Network (PRSN) in the form of rail infrastructure upgrades and metropolitan rail system access.
The Intermodal Terminal Network will become the key strategic asset in the Melbourne import export container supply chain providing cost efficiencies and time savings.
