Changes to movement and discrepancy reporting of uncooked imported pig meat

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice from the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) that IAN 158/ 2021 addressing changes to the movement and discrepancy reporting of uncooked imported pig meat has been published.

This initiative can be seen as another step in the departments drive to work together with industry to achieve efficiencies for both the department and industry by implementing more streamlined ways of undertaking internal functions, without compromise to biosecurity risk management.
