Service Disruption to the National Appointment System (NAS)

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice from the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) has issued Industry Advice Notice 129-2021 dealing with a service disruption to the National Appointment System (NAS).

Information

The department is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption causing delays with processing inspection appointments.

Action

If your scheduled inspection appointment with the department has been impacted, please contact the department on 1800 900 090 or resend your inspection appointment request to the relevant import booking email queue.

Next steps

The cause of the issue has been identified and the department's Information Services Division is currently working on a resolution. Updated advice to industry members will be provided as soon as possible.
