Further to our notice yesterday in reference to the Australian Border Force outage, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) received the following update from ABF executives
Yesterday the Department of Home Affairs – among numerous organisations – experienced issues as a direct result of a failure at one of our Service Providers
As a result, from approximately 13:50 yesterday, many external CI users were unable to access the ABF web site and/or certain systems/applications available from the web site, that included the Cargo Interactive (CI). The ICS itself was functioning normally and processing of EDI messaging was not impacted, although there may have been issues with delivery of EDI message payloads for some clients.
We understand full service was restored at around 18:15 or so yesterday evening.
