Please be informed that the port of Yantian is currently experiencing congestion, with most reefer plugs already being occupied.
As such, to ensure your reefer cargo remains in premium condition, you are highly recommended to contact your local CMA CGM representative to change the port of discharge/ destination. Otherwise, we may be forced to divert your reefer cargo to alternative ports.
To cover the additional costs, we will apply the following Port Congestion Surcharge (PCS), which is applicable to CMA CGM and ANL:
Effective date: 11 June 2021 (loading date)
• Except USA and Brazil exports, for which PCS will take effect from 11 July 2021 (loading date)

For ongoing units and those which have already been re-routed, a specific surcharge will be calculated at the time of the reloading as soon as space is made available at the ports of Yantian. Our local office will reach out and advise details if your cargo is affected.
