Port of Melbourne Supply Chain Awareness Workshop - Wednesday, 2 June 2021

Wednesday, April 28, 2021

CTAA is pleased to be able to "kick-start" our famous Port Supply Chain Awareness Workshops in Melbourne in a "COVIDsafe" manner.

The Workshop is ideal for industry & government participants who'd gain value from a greater understanding of how the container logistics chain really works in practice:
  • How do stakeholders in the chain interact and what's driving their behaviours at any point in time?
  • How does the flow of information affect the physical movement of containers?
  • How will we meet the challenges of efficiency & productivity as container trade volumes grow?
  • How do you minimise delays and added costs?
  • What is the future for road and rail interfaces with stevedores, empty container parks, intermodal terminals and customers?
When:

8.30am to 4pm, Wednesday, 2 June 2021 (incl. morning tea & a light lunch)

Where:

Quest Flemington, 600 Epsom Rd, Flemington, followed by a bus tour of Port of Melbourne container facilities.
