DEADLINE - REMINDER Proposed new obligations on customs depots and warehouse licences

Wednesday, April 28, 2021

Further to our notice of April 22, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA)  have managed to secure an extension for members to provide commentary / feedback to the Australian Border Force (ABF) on the  "Proposed new obligations on customs depots and warehouse licences".

Your opportunity to comment has been extended to COB Friday 30 April - should you wish to have your commentary / concerns included in the submission by FTA we would need to have your replies by COB Thursday 29 April.

The ABF is seeking industry feedback and for any alternative wording, or identification of any issues that may arise with the implementation of the new conditions.

The attached PDF titled 'April 2021_Proposed Additional Conditions CAG' contains each existing additional condition as outlined in the existing and in force Department of Home Affairs Notice 2019-27, which can be found here.

Initial informal feedback from our earlier notice was welcome, however we need your concerns / thoughts sent to us via email so we can compile into one submission.

We look forward to receiving same by COB tomorrow 29 April - if you have any questions please email us
