Meeting with Senator Ben Small

A great opportunity last Friday (April 9) to meet with Senator Ben Small at Parliament House in Perth to hear what is happening nationally and also for his understanding of local issues in WA. 

Over lunch I raised a number of issues currently impacting our industry, from the need for continuation of the International Freight Assistance Mechanism until such time as regular and sustained passenger flights are available, the current review by the Productivity Commission into Australia's supply chain and the need to secure the whole supply chain at national level to ensure our exporters and importers have uninterrupted access to supply.
