Tony is a licensed customs broker (making him the fifth in our operational team) and comes with a wealth of business, international freight and logistics experience as the founder and two decade lead of an international freight forwarding business.
Tony's move to a full time role at FTA will further strengthen our value proposition for all FTA and Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) members in a newly created national role as our Head of International Freight and Logistics.
Based in Brisbane, Tony will also have the additional responsibility as our regional representative interfacing with key stakeholders and Queensland based members.
Tony commenced employment with FTA today (Monday 1 March 2021) and will have an immediate opportunity to meet members in tomorrow's CPD Border Compliance Program that we are hosting at the Brisbane Airport Convention Centre.
