FTA PODCAST - INTERVIEW WITH ARTHUR TZANEROS

Saturday, January 30, 2021

Last week I had the privilege of interviewing Arthur Tzaneros (the co-founder of ACFS Port Logistics) in terms of lessons learnt from the last 12 months for logistics providers involved in international trade.

2020 was a challenging year for industry and the community in general, posing many threats and challenges. Arthur was instrumental in navigating ACFS through these adversities and today is proud to be an essential service provider to many of Australia's important retailers who play a crucial role in delivering a vast range of commodities to the community.

Whilst managing the threat of COVID-19 and the obstacles of the Terminal Strikes and other industry issues, the focus has always been on keeping ACFS employees safe, whilst delivering strong outcomes for customers.  Whilst keeping one eye on the future, ACFS has continued to build and focus on its strategic direction, and is placed  favourably to support their clients and the community today and into the future.

We encourage members to listen to the PODCAST to gain insight on Arthur's views on national terminal / port performance, utilisation of rail, growth of e-commerce, paperless LCL deliveries, empty container park congestion and the need for co-ordinated industry engagement to steer future logistics reform.
