4 December 2020

As per our Customer Advisory dated December 3, 2020, MV ONE Apus suffered collapsed containers due to severe weather conditions. The owners and managers of the container vessel ONE Apus can confirm that the ship is proceeding to the port of Kobe, Japan with an ETA of December 8, to right unstable containers.

We are still awaiting the scheduling changes from the ship operator and once we receive it we will pass it to our customers.

The priority remains on getting the ship to a safe port to ensure the ongoing safety of the crew, the vessel and the cargo on board. Once berthed, it's expected to take some time to offload the dislodged containers that remain on board. Then a thorough assessment will be made on the exact number and type of containers that have been lost or damaged.

Once the ONE Apus is in port and deemed safe, a full investigation will be conducted into this incident in conjunction with the Flag State and the relevant maritime authorities.

More information and recovery schedule will be provided as it becomes available.
