Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) - 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021

 

The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has advised that the Automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) expansion for 2020 is now live. For more information please refer to the AEP reform webpage.

Import Industry Advice Notice 123/2020 was published this afternoon referring to this update.
 

The CBC Activity (2020-21/01 - DOA030) will be conducted via a live webinar to be held NEXT Tuesday 4 August, 10am (AEST)

There is no CBC training required for Class 19.1 NCCC accredited persons for the current period.

For the current 2020/21 period, all Class 19.2 AEPCOMM accredited persons must complete CBC Activity 20-21/01 by 21 September 2020.

NOTE: 

 

  • For those who cannot attend the live webinar, a recording will be made available by the department - FTA will make this available as a resource along with the mandatory assessment online via  www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au 

 

·         The department's preference is for you to attend the live webinar and complete the assessment immediately afterwards to ensure you are up to speed with the changes to arrangements as soon as possible. 

 

·         It is a requirement that accredited persons complete the CBC activity before they attempt to lodge any new commodities through AEPCOMM and the department will monitor uptake during this period against CBC completion records.
