Brett Charlton appointed to the Freight Industry Reference Panel

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

On behalf of the Transport and Infrastructure Council, the Hon Michael McCormack (Deputy Prime Minister) last week announced the high calibre members appointed to the Freight Industry Reference Panel - refer HERE.

Of particular note is the appointment of Brett Charlton.

Brett is the Tasmanian State Manager at Agility and the Chair of the Tasmanian Logistics Committee, both organisations being a member and partner to the Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA).
Brett is an experienced and highly respected trade professional who is also a passionate advocate for the interests of Australian exporters, importers and logistics service providers.

FTA / APSA regularly collaborate with Brett on Tasmanian logistics policy matters and those of broader national interest. We look forward to ongoing engagement with Brett and the other panel members with a focus on the efficient movement of goods to lead our economic recovery and generate national wealth.

We look forward to government reforms respecting and prioritising these needs.
