New IFAM flights: Los Angeles – Melbourne / Brisbane

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received advice that the establishment of new International Freight Assistance Mechanism (IFAM) flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Melbourne (MEL) and Brisbane (BNE) with Virgin Australia.
 
There is capacity inbound (to Australia) on this flight in which medical supplies will be prioritised. Please note there is not currently capacity on the outbound leg of this flight, as Australia Post is also supporting these flights and will be prioritising mail.

Pricing
Virgin Australia is applying the following rates for the freight. These rates may be subject to change and will be reviewed each Wednesday.

LAX - BNE	$10.30 AUD (approx. $6.386 USD)
