Hutchison Port Botany - extended closure - UPDATE 3

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received advice from Hutchison Ports executives that there are currently no restrictions placed on their Port Botany terminal to resume operations by the health and safety authorities.

Hutchison remains in discussions with the union for a return to normal operations by the workforce.

In the interim, Terminal Operations for all activities remain closed due meaning all appointments from 0700 to 1400 today will be cancelled. Hutchison have asked that transport operators utilise the replacement booking feature where required. At this stage, Hutchison plan to re commence operations at 1500 today.

FTA/ APSA will keep members up to date on developments.
