Maritime advice updated by Australian Border Force in relation to the Republic of Korea & Italy

Following a teleconference with the Australian Border Force (ABF) this morning (March 6, 2020), Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA) has now received the following updates to the maritime advice for both cruise and commercial vessels in relation to the Republic of Korea and Italy.

Arrangements for vessels from the Republic of Korea  
Vessels that report persons who have been in the Republic of Korea on or after 2100 AEDST 5 March 2020 are subject to additional restrictions outlined in this document. 
 

Arrangements for vessels from Italy or vessels carrying crew who have left or transited through Italy on or after 2100 AEDST 5 March 2020. All vessel masters will be required to answer the following health screening questions as part of their entry reporting: 
 

3. Has the vessel been in Italy on or after 2100 AEDST 5 March 2020?

4. Has any person on the vessel been in Italy on or after 2100 AEDST 5 March 2020? 

The Australian Government is closely monitoring the situation and the attached advice will be updated as needed. It is important to continue to monitor the ABF website and the Department of Health website.
