|  | | | NZTA: ESC Requirements for all imported vehicles seeking NZ registration from 1 March 2020 | | The New Zealand Transport Agency advises that under the Land Transport Rules, all imported motor vehicles of specified classes must be fitted with an electronic stability control (ESC) system from 1 March 2020. Certain exemptions apply. Further details can be found here.
Note this is not an importation requirement, but a requirement for NZ registration of the vehicle.
