"coronavirus" - Update 8 / Commercial vessel update

Further to discussions that Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) have been having with the Australian Border Force (ABF) in relation to the management of vessel / crew arriving at Australian Ports. We wish to advise that the below email has just been received along with the attachments below.

This should now give some clarity to comments that have previously been in circulation .

RESTRICTIONS ON ENTRY TO AUSTRALIA RELATING TO THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS FOR COMMERCIAL VESSELS.
This advice has been developed in consultation with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, Department of Health, the Australian Border Force, and peak bodies representing the maritime industry. 

 
Advice for marine pilots was provided by the Department of Health and is attached for reference. It is important that industry members monitor the Department of Health website for updates, any update to this advice will be circulated to this group.
