Who does this notice affect?

This notice affects clients who interact face-to-face with the department at the following Melbourne based offices:

• Customs House, Corner Grants and Centre Road, Melbourne Airport VIC 3045
• 255 Melrose Drive, Tullamarine VIC 3043
• Lot 2/5 McClure Road Kensington VIC 3031.

What has changed?

The department will relocate three existing Melbourne offices into a single office at the Younghusband Woolstore site, 10 Elizabeth Street Kensington 3031. The relocation is scheduled for mid-2021.

Background

Following a review of its future accommodation requirements, the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, identified and considered a number of possible sites. The Younghusband Woolstore, a building presently undergoing refurbishment in Kensington, was selected as the most suitable site. Centralising three existing sites into one office will further strengthen the integration across our business and enhance our ability to deliver the department's functions.
