CTAA Port of Melbourne Supply Chain Awareness Workshop - Tuesday, 3 March 2020

The one-day CTAA Workshop delivers a greater understanding of how the container transport logistics chain really works in practice.
  • What drives operational behaviours by players in the chain?

  • What can I do to avoid added costs and delays - how to I best work with others in the chain?

  • What is the future for road & rail, container terminals and empty container management?

  • How can efficiency & productivity be improved as the container task grows through the Port of Melbourne?
Ideal for new and existing staff in importers / exporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, container logistics providers (road & rail), empty container depot operators, consultants & suppliers to the industry, and government departments

Participants get a stronger sense of how the whole container logistics chain works - the discussions & learnings in the morning are reinforced with the afternoon tour of port supply chain facilities.
