Victoria Quay will be transformed into a waterfront market haven of food, artisanal products and the largest indoor plant sale in the metro area this Saturday. E Shed Markets will also be operating -  the perfect spot to find vintage collectables and locally made products or sit back and relax with a drink and a bite to eat. There'll be more than 30 stallholders and 10 food stalls plus all-day entertainment, including Kavisha Mazella (noon-1.45pm), and Fairy Sandie and Kids Craft for the little ones. New addition to Fremantle cruise season

VICTORIA QUAY / FREMANTLE PASSENGER TERMINAL
 

Cruise ship Vasco da Gama made its debut visit to Fremantle on 13 January for a summer season of homeporting. The newest addition to Cruise and Maritime Voyages' fleet, the premium Vasco da Gama has a guest capacity of 1220 - more than double that of CMV's Astor, which was based in Fremantle from 2013-19.

Sound & Waves concert

B SHED / 6.30PM WEDNESDAY 25 MARCH
 

Immerse yourself in Perth Symphony Orchestra's production of Sounds & Waves, a celebration of the unique and spiritual relationship West Australians have with the ocean. Set by the harbour in iconic B Shed, the program will include a bespoke mix of music designed to evoke a sense of movement and awaken the spirit of the ocean; from classical to contemporary pieces, including a WA premiere and soundscapes.

Container exhibition (free)

ON VICTORIA QUAY UNTIL 14 APRIL 2020
 

Presented by the Western Australian Museum in partnership with Fremantle Ports and the Freight and Logistics Council of WA, Container – the box that changed the world is an interactive, solar-powered exhibition displayed in six colourful sea containers across Victoria Quay.
