Another MOL vessel has been turned away for offshore treatment

Thursday, January 2, 2020

Further to last month's Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) advice on the Orca Ace V 011 being turned away by the Department of Agriculture, MOL Shipping Australia have today advised that the Dugong Ace V006 has also been sent offshore for treatment to meet the Department of Agriculture's requirements. Estimated time of cargo returning back to Australia is early Feb 2020 at this stage.

We understand that the Elegant Ace has passed the department's inspection and commenced discharging at Melbourne.
