This stand-out has been with their current company for the past 2 years after working through a Bachelor of Business. Majoring in logistics and minors in global studies and project management. Working in the forwarding and logistics space has always been the end goal. After some internal changes and a loss of direct leadership, our candidate is looking to explore new opportunities. Working their first 18 months 18 months in an export operations role, handling airfreight (via co-loaders) and Seafreight. Our candidate's exposure had a mixture of FCL and LCL with a stronger leaning to LCL by volume, all the time working with a variety of co-loaders and process. For the past 4 months, an internal transition into a sales support/procurement role assisting the commercial and operations team with a variety of support with rates and dealing with airlines, shipping lines and transport companies to secure rates for quotes and tariffs.
