Border Watch overview – Why you should be a member

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) are pleased to advise that we have arranged with the ABF Maritime Operations and Border Watch programs to present to members and the wider industry on Wednesday September 25th at the Swan Yacht Club, East Fremantle.

This industry forum will provide an opportunity to further understand the legislative and policy requirements regarding operations and obligations at 77Gs as well as the movement of goods under bond and how they are processed on arrival at the 77G. It will also provide the platform for you to ask questions of Inspector Martin Reynolds of the ABF Maritime Operations team to gain greater clarification, and address concerns, of both 77G premise license holders and staff as well as customs brokers arranging the movement of this cargo.

It would be appreciated if you could provide your questions prior to the event in order for an answer to be provided on the day.

This forum will also have a presentation from Ms Kath Forward on the Border Watch program, common indicators of suspicious behavior and why you should become a member.
