Mandatory training for AEPCOMM Accredited persons

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has today received advice that the Department of Agriculture AEP reform web page has been updated to include information about AEPCOMM expansion and the upcoming CBC activity.

An industry notice was also published this afternoon referring to this update.
 
Included on the web page is a link for Accredited persons to register for the CBC activity/webinar.

For the current 2019/20 period, all accredited persons (19.1 NCCC and 19.2. AEPCOMM) must complete 19.1. & 19.2. CBC Information Session 19-20/01 by 31 March 2020.

NOTE: 

  • Those members that attended our CPD & CBC - Border and Biosecurity Compliance Program events earlier this year have completed this requirement. 

  • Those that are yet to complete this requirement can do so online via www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au (please refer to options below). 


For the current 2019/20 period, all accredited persons for 19.2. AEPCOMM must complete 19.2. CBC Activity 19-20/02 by 1 December 2019.

 

NOTE: 

  • We have received confirmation that the Department of Agriculture will deliver a live webinar on 26 August 2019 (register HERE) - after this time, FTA will have the associated mandatory assessment available online via www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au 

  • For those who cannot attend the live webinar, a recording will be made available by the department (date to be confirmed) - FTA will make this available as a resource along with the mandatory assessment online via  www.ComplianceNetFTA.com.au 

  • The department's preference is for you to attend the live webinar and complete the assessment immediately afterwards to ensure you are up to speed with the changes to arrangements as soon as possible. 

  • It is a requirement that accredited persons complete the CBC activity before they attempt to lodge any new commodities through AEPCOMM and the department will monitor uptake during this period against CBC completion records.
