Cyclone Oma impacting Brisbane Port Calls Dear customer, Please be advised that Tropical Cyclone Oma is having a major impact on the Port of Brisbane. Pilotage has been suspended and potentially will not resume until Monday 25/02/19, pending swell/weather moderation. The following vessels are impacted: MAERSK YANGTZE 906E – Sailed Thursday night at 1700. Discharge of all imports was completed but only partial loading of exports. MSC ANYA 908R – slow steaming south of port to await resumption of pilot service. RIO BRAVO 907S/908N – Will omit Brisbane. Brisbane exports will be rolled 1 week to the Rio Madeira 909N. Brisbane imports to discharge at Sydney. – Further on carriage to be advised Customers with Brisbane imports are kindly requested to amend their import customs lodgement as: Port of Discharge: Sydney Place of Delivery: Brisbane Rio Bravo 908N Sydney cut off has been advanced to 2pm on the 24/02/19. NYK FURANO 056 - port expected to reopen in time for berthing early next week. Pending other vessel movements and terminal congestion following operations stoppage
