Bumper fairy tern breeding season at sanctuary
Fremantle Ports' breeding sanctuary on reclaimed land at Rous Head is making a strong contribution to the conservation of these vulnerable little birds in WA. The number of breeding pairs has grown from 90 to 250 in five years and it is the largest and most successful breeding colony of fairy terns in the Perth metropolitan area.
