Peru's APEC project "Impact of the Electronic Bill of Lading on the Expedited Clearance of Goods: Implications for Foreign Trade Operators"

The Australian Border Force (ABF) on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Peru, are pleased to introduce Peru's APEC project "Impact of the Electronic Bill of Lading on the Expedited Clearance of Goods: Implications for Foreign Trade Operators" (SCCP_203_2025A).

As part of the project's implementation, you are invited to contribute to one of its key activities by completing the attached survey and sharing it with relevant stakeholders. Responses are due by 31 July 2026.

The survey seeks to gather information on current practices, experiences and perspectives regarding the implementation and use of the electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) across APEC economies. A key feature of this questionnaire is that it has been designed to collect input from a broad range of stakeholders involved in international trade—not only customs administrators, but also other government agencies, ports, carriers, logistics service providers, business associations, importers, exporters and other supply chain participants.
