Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) director and Australian Peak Shippers Association secretariat, Paul Zalai, said a ceasefire and a lasting peace in the Middle East "cannot come soon enough, not only to alleviate human suffering but also to help stabilise fuel markets driving up global costs". Mr Zalai said while the government's focus on fuel security and transport continuity was necessary, it was only part of the equation. |
